Swedish –It is the most common form of massage. It is primarily used to relax the muscles and ease aches & pains.
Deep Tissue – By working the contracted areas of the body with deep pressure & slow strokes, chronic patterns of tension can be effectively released.
Sports – Geared towards the athlete, included are techniques to warm up &/or cool down muscles, increase flexibility & range of motion, and improve circulation. These techniques can be used before & after events, during training, & to decrease rehab time after an injury.
Stretching – Using a variety of techiques, increased flexibility of muscles & increased range of motion of the joints can be achieved.
Cancer Support Massage -Each massage session is geared toward the client's current physical & mental well-being. Information from the thorough health & history intake form is also used to plan the massage sessions. Massage provides emotional support, reduces anxiety & depression, helps relieve symptoms of nausea & vomiting, along with reducing the pain & suffereing that is often associated with treatment procedures and the cancer itself.
